"You know your lands well enough. It is definitely different from our world, but at the same time, some things never change, and that is going to give us the advantage," Prussia replied, already climbing down the hill and towards their destination.

It was true that there was an advantage to joining this mission, but that wasn't the only reason. Prussia knew that sometimes it was hard to not see your land. Even if it is torn or broken, it's hard not being able to physically be there. At least, that is how he felt. He thought it wouldn't hurt to visit England this one time.

"Come on, lets go lets go! Lets hunt some piggies, kesesese!" He paused in the middle of the hill, waiting for England to follow before Prussia continued on.

Prussia was so energetic. It was a refreshing sight. But still, England could not help but feel anxious. What was Prussia gaining by taking him out on a mission? What did he want? He must have wanted something, because there would be no reason to do this, otherwise. England frowned before following after Prussia down the hill. He knew where they were, had walked over this area countless times before, so Prussia was right about them being at an advantage.

"What do you mean, 'piggies?'" he asked once he reached the bottom of the hill. He walked quickly to catch up with the other country. The mud was thick beneath their feet.

"The mission we've got..." Prussia would have taken the piece of paper out, but this time, he left it behind. He already had the objectives memorized. He realized that he had been getting soft, and so, he needed to get back into his rigid training. "Man-sized hogs are running around eating people and livestock so we are here to take one of them down. If we're lucky, we'll meet another."

A wily grin spread across his face as he tightened his metal fist in excitement. The more he got into his battles, the more he felt like his old self. He continued on with the assessment, "These pigs have humongous tusks, and even more nifty, they have hands AND claws. Sounds fun, doesn't it?"

It was nice to see Prussia excited. It made England smile the tiniest bit. He really wished that he knew what was going on in the other nation's head, though.

"Yeah, I suppose it does," he mused, neither fazed nor afraid. The description of the beast matched the others of this world. England was more concerned about it ravaging his home and his people. His goal was to stop it. "But why bring me?"

Man, it seemed like everyone wanted to hold Prussa's hand! Of course, who could blame them--

Well, jokes aside, Prussia quickly grabbed England's hand with a tight grip, ready for the battle. Prussia might have thought about himself somewhere along the way, but really, it was currently in the back of his mind. He was focused and ready to really fight against the enemy.

And having England as a weapon ... Prussia knew he had someone he could rely on. That's why his grip was tight.

It was with little effort that England transformed as soon as Prussia touched him. He almost felt like crying. The joy of being in Prussia's hands again, and the promise of a fight excited him. He was ready for whatever Prussia wanted to do, both submissive and ravenous at the same time.

This. This was how it should be. Prussia was his, should have been his partner.

"Whoa...! Still the same as ever, I guess, kesese!" Prussia flipped the sword in his hand a bit, grinning at the light weight. Well, there were times where it was still heavy here and there, but for now, it was pretty easy to hold him. "We'll be able to take down that monster with ease, kesese. Oh, I think...I see him."

Prussia quickly ducked to the ground, covered by tall grass that was overgrowing, and peered out to see if his suspicions were correct.

And indeed, Prussia's extraordinary senses were right for once, that is. Not long after the two were hidden in the grasses did their target in question appear, trotting with its demon hooves as its snort twitched at the surroundings. A small squeal-like sound escaped from it as the hog glanced around and contiuned to sniff, persumably just to see if anybody was in its territory. If there were anybody, then they'd soon know better than to have crossed it otherwise.

However, by good chance for the kishin egg, England suddenly became heavy in Prussia's arms. Something Prussia had said rattled him, and his concentration broke for a moment. This gave the creature a little time to put some distance between itself and Prussia.

Whoa, what.

Kathunk.

"Now what..."

And the chance was one that the kishin took well, as the pig-like creature trotted off back into the undergrowth, hiding back under the bushes and presumably hide from its would-be attackers. It might come back of it might not - who knew? Only time would tell.

The way Prussia spoke caused England to panic. I let him down again. He's going to hate me. He'll think I'm weak. England continued to get heavier as his thoughts raced through his mind. He had to pull himself together. He closed his eyes and attempted to focus on happier times, times that England cherished. Come on... They didn't have time for this. This was England's chance to prove he was a good partner.

That energy stuff? What an eloquent way of putting things, dear Prussia. England rolled his eyes, but remained focused. You don't have to worry about me. I'll do everything I can to become stronger.

He could hear that dumb creature lumbering around in the grass. It was foolish to think it could hide from two countries who knew everything there was to know about spying.

Still unaware of the duo's presence, the pig-like creature merely went on trotting and sniffling, oblivious to the danger that was coming towards it. At the moment, it seemed far more interested in a mushroom it had spotted amongst the grass rather than anything else around it, and was sniffing at it to wonder if it was edible enough.

I know.

Once he was close enough, Prussia inhaled as much air as he could. Once his lungs were filled, he let out a loud cry,

"OIIIIIII!!"

He hoped that the moment would shock the pig long enough for him to dash in and lunge the sword into its side.

While Prussia had lost his grip on the pig once it stumbled, he quickly regained his posture as he walked up to the fallen kishin egg. For a moment, he watched it struggle. Familiar bloodlust arose from the pit of his stomach and bubbled itself into his throat, forcing an old smirk onto the country's face. Even England would be able to feel it, old memories of the past, resurging.

Prussia made sure that the next slash would be the last for the kishin egg. The pig's struggle would be over.

For a brief moment, England could focus on nothing else, not even the slain kishin egg that would no longer terrorize his home. All he was thinking about was Prussia and his burning spirit. He glanced up from the sword at the other country, a dark blush covering his cheeks. Right then, England wanted him so badly that he could barely think straight.

He took hold of his emotions before they spun out of control and changed back into his normal form. His face was still red, but his back was to Prussia so that the albino-colored country couldn't see him. England walked right over to the beast and gave the body a rough kick. "Come into my house, will you? You're a rude guest!"

"Heh. Well, that one is down and out at least. We showed them, didn't we?"

He rubbed his nose, feeling that bloodlust disappear. It was actually kind of surprising that he could bring that old part of him. As a part of his old country, he was proud that it could still show its face. However, something about it left an odd discomfort in his stomach as well which for some reason, he couldn't explain.

"At least it's done."

There was no reason for Prussia to be ashamed of his bloodlust, as far as England was concerned. That was part of what made him one of the most powerful countries of his time. In fact, most countries went through a period where they were consumed by war and needed to pull out that part of themselves. It was just a part of who... what they were.

England watched as the kishin egg began to dissolve, only leaving its soul behind. And he ate it. Heh. He was getting stronger. He turned around to face Prussia again, crossing his arms and looking confident.

"Yeah, it's done. We should head back now, yeah?" A part of England did not want to return to Death City at all. But he knew that was his duty right now. He was too stubborn to just run away from it.
