"You know your lands well enough. It is definitely different from our world, but at the same time, some things never change, and that is going to give us the advantage," Prussia replied, already climbing down the hill and towards their destination.

It was true that there was an advantage to joining this mission, but that wasn't the only reason. Prussia knew that sometimes it was hard to not see your land. Even if it is torn or broken, it's hard not being able to physically be there. At least, that is how he felt. He thought it wouldn't hurt to visit England this one time.

"Come on, lets go lets go! Lets hunt some piggies, kesesese!" He paused in the middle of the hill, waiting for England to follow before Prussia continued on.

Prussia was so energetic. It was a refreshing sight. But still, England could not help but feel anxious. What was Prussia gaining by taking him out on a mission? What did he want? He must have wanted something, because there would be no reason to do this, otherwise. England frowned before following after Prussia down the hill. He knew where they were, had walked over this area countless times before, so Prussia was right about them being at an advantage.

"What do you mean, 'piggies?'" he asked once he reached the bottom of the hill. He walked quickly to catch up with the other country. The mud was thick beneath their feet.

"The mission we've got..." Prussia would have taken the piece of paper out, but this time, he left it behind. He already had the objectives memorized. He realized that he had been getting soft, and so, he needed to get back into his rigid training. "Man-sized hogs are running around eating people and livestock so we are here to take one of them down. If we're lucky, we'll meet another."

A wily grin spread across his face as he tightened his metal fist in excitement. The more he got into his battles, the more he felt like his old self. He continued on with the assessment, "These pigs have humongous tusks, and even more nifty, they have hands AND claws. Sounds fun, doesn't it?"

It was nice to see Prussia excited. It made England smile the tiniest bit. He really wished that he knew what was going on in the other nation's head, though.

"Yeah, I suppose it does," he mused, neither fazed nor afraid. The description of the beast matched the others of this world. England was more concerned about it ravaging his home and his people. His goal was to stop it. "But why bring me?"

It was a lot of complicated things, but at the same time, it was the simplest of things as well. No matter what, the most important thing was this goals were still there.

"Did you want to get stronger?"

"It's not like you to go out of your way to help me," England replied, not meaning for it to sound harsh. Prussia certainly hadn't done anything to make his life easier since he'd returned. The guy only cared about himself, so why would he stick his nose out to help his former-partner? "Whether I want to get stronger or not doesn't affect you in any way."

"Well." Prussia turned around to ruffle England's hair a bit before continuing. "Of course it doesn't. But I'm still doing it for my own reasons, and whatever those reasons are, well... I don't feel like telling you! So don't worry about it and get stronger!"

Because you're still my friend.

"I'll help you out!" Man, Prussia could feel England's gratitude, kesesese. Prussia was just that great, wasn't he...? Strange enough, that wasn't the only thing he was feeling. His sixth sense for warfare was pretty good so Prussia was certain that they were getting closer to their prey.

England was definitely not expecting the hair-ruffle. He stiffened up, squeezing his eyes shut. It would have seemed like a patronizing gesture to someone else, but they were closer than that, and England felt that he understood the other man. So Prussia wasn't mad about what he'd said when they were on the cruise. That was good. The tension England had been feeling began to dissolve.

When Prussia pulled away, England opened one eye to watch him, a light pink color spreading across his cheeks. The moment of idolization was brief, though, as he felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. "I hear something," he said under his breath.

"You too, huh?"

Prussia stopped moving, staying absolutely still, listening for the sounds nearby. He, too, could feel a chill running down his spine, but Prussia knew it wasn't from fear. It was from pure, unadulterated adrenaline. He couldn't help but wonder if England was feeling the same thing or not.

"Hey, this is probably a good time for you to become a weapon."

"Idiot," England huffed. "I was getting to it. I was just waiting for you to..." Well, no matter. He held out his hand to Prussia.
