She glanced over at Aqua to make sure she'd noticed it. "We should check," she said simply.

It was an unfortunate side-effect of both her upbringing and personality that when Aqua felt like there was something she needed to do, her ability to socialize went down and her face chooses a frown as its default expression.
As they neared the site of the disturbance, a small crowd became visible.
There were onlookers, as there always were in these situations, driven by curiosity or maybe a sort of drunken interest they stood at a safe distance, close enough to watch and jeer but not close enough to be dragged into the fray.
And in the middle of that was a smaller group, numbering less than a dozen probably, in a free-for-all fight.
She glanced at Ran Fan, a little uncertain. If the men had been Unversed, she would have just attacked...but somehow, she wasn't sure if that was the acceptable way to go about breaking this up.

Finally, she faced forward and silently began walking calmly toward the crowd, pushing her way through the the spectators to get a good look at what needed to be dealt with. It seemed like attempting to subdue at least a few of them was the best course of action. She turned to see if her shiftmate had followed and if she was possibly on the same page.

She was getting the impression that her shiftmate didn't talk much, so when she turned her head back, Aqua filled in where the conversation probably should gave gone, "Do you think they'd stop if we could take out a few of them?"
Past the crowd of spectators, they would see that the brawlers were predominantly male. Some of them, red in the face and stumbling slightly, also appeared to be drunk. No one seemed tp be using any conventional weapons, but there were a couple of bottles being smashed over other people's heads, and someone had a piece of what was probably broken off from a chair in their hands.
