As all of the newcomers filed into the Casualty Communal on the last part of their tour, they were greeted by another set of Shibusen’s finest. The girl standing front and center looked young, only in her middle teens, with her dirty blonde hair in high pigtails. To either side stood a strange man sitting in a chair with grey hair and a screw sticking straight through his head, and a sharply dressed woman with equally sharp eyes behind a set of frames and pitch black hair. And up went Rose's hand. Best to learn the new mechanics of what she was dealing with before wandering blindly around the city. Not that it seemed she would be able to use them without a partner, but forewarned was forearmed and all that.
Noticing the girl's hand raise into the air, Maka heads over with a smile on her face. She likes those that take initiative.
"Hello," she said pleasantly. "This will only take a second." Straight down to business as usual. Her eyes seem to narrow slightly as she focuses, trying to find and get a good look at the image of her soul as it began to appear in front of her.
She nodded in response, silently encouraging the girl to take as long as was needed. Rose went still, unsure as to how she could make the process easier but figuring flailing about wouldn't help at all.
