October was a good month for receiving guests. Good temperature, decently long days and restful nights, and the city was normally active in preparation for the ever important Halloween and the Christmas after. The city was usually themed in skulls, crosses and death, and now it was even more so.
Things had been peaceful for the city in the last month three weeks, and it had done wonders for repairing the many damages caused by the war to the infrastructures in the area. It might even seem like a city too complacent for being stuck in the middle of war. But an observer would notice the guards patrolling the areas, the fact that some people tended to talk to the weaponry they carried with them, and people’s subject of conversation seemed to be about fighting and killing things. A pretty cheerful city all in all.
