Mukuro arrived rather promptly, which might have been a surprise to some - whether he turned up at all at somebody's request was always questionable, and the time of his arrival was determined by just how bored he was, or how interested he was in his current friend of the moment.

A knock on the door, then:

"I'm here."

Adah would have waited forever; she knew that people tended to take their own time, and she was fully guilty of doing the same thing. Putting her book down and limping over to the door, she opened it for her friend.

"Hello. How was the walk?"

"Not particularly interesting, I'm afraid."

Mukuro positively beamed at the girl before walking right in. The Meister took a moment to study his surroundings with interest.

"You are home alone?"

"Yes. Minato goes to work in the afternoon, but my work is in the morning." She paused. "And then the clinic."

The apartment looked well lived-in, with books surrounding everything. Adah had expanded on her collection, thanks to Minato and his generosity. He had even bought her bookcases, which stood in the living room, neatly organized and arranged to Adah's liking.
