[Though Katsura mostly disapproved of the food, the beer wasn't too bad. Seeing Iceland there makes him a little happier since he did say that he wanted to go out and drink with him.]

Ah, Eirikur-san. Are you here for the free food and drinks too?

[ Ah, the drinking plan. Iceland haven't forgotten about it, but the mission and stuff has whisked it away from his mind. Only temporarily, anyway, because when Katsura showed up, it flew back to his mind. Though, he wasn't expecting the other party's appearance, and it worried him a bit. He was trying his best to hide from other people (especially Nura), and if Katsura could find him, then his partner could too, right? He was pretty sure that she was better in finding people than Katsura.

It took him a few moments to answer the other's question, since it cut straight to the heart of the matter. Did he read his mind or something? ]

No. [ Finally, he decided to lie. He would never admit the fact that he's here for the free food and drinks. Correction, beer. ] Are you?

[As it was, Katsura had not seen the post on the network but he had heard about the party from the residents. It had seemed interesting enough and he couldn't drink during his shift, so he had decided to take a detour here instead. Regardless, it wouldn't look too well if he admitted as such, right?]

No, I was just thirsty and I happened to see this party on my way back from work. [He pauses] You seem cautious somehow.

[ Speaking about jobs, he probably should show up at the Northern Lights today. But surely Rise would understand that he need a break after all the stuff that happened. It was quite a fine day, anyway, and he'd rather not be confined inside a building and serving people. ]

Work? [ He suspected that Katsura also lied about his motive, but whatever. It's not his business. At his remark, there's another pause. ] I...was trying to avoid my partner, that's all.

[ Shrugs. Seems like he could trust Katsura on this matter. ]

I work at the pet store in the afternoon, and I was just about to go home. [He pauses again.] Are you having a conflict with your partner? If your partner enjoys drinking, they might be here as well.

I see. [ Considering telling the other about his job, but decided against it. He doesn't really like talking about himself. ] No, not at all. I just wanted to be alone for a while, that's all.

[ Would never tell the real reason behind it because it's embarrassing. ]

[It's almost convincing, but Katsura doesn't quite buy the story even though he still misses most of the point.]

I see. Hiding in a crowd seems like it would be a good strategy when you don't want people to find and bother you because everyone would be too busy talking to someone they know.

My thoughts exactly. [ Oh, he'd promptly forgotten about his beer. Let him sipped it for a bit before continuing. ] Say, why don't you take a seat?

I thought you said that you wanted to be alone. [Despite that, he takes a seat and downs his cup of beer.] I suppose two people won't stand out too much either.

[ He realized that he was contradicting himself (again) and thus, effectively making his reason flawed, but right now, he could care less about such things. He shrugs and took another sip. ]

Well, it's not like there's a neon sign flashing above our heads that reads, "OVER HERE".

[At this, he actually looks up for a moment and carries on like he saw nothing, which he obviously didn't.]

Ah, a sign like that could be useful to distract other people while you run away to an isolated corner so that you can drink alone, but...anyone you know might walk past you and you may not want to see them. Let's go over there. He points to a more quiet and obscure area.]

[ He shook his head. ]

Nah, I don't think so. [ A sign like that wouldn't be useful for anything aside from attracting attention. And attention is something Iceland doesn't want, in Oktoberfest or not. He glanced at the spot Katsura was pointing before nodding. ] Okay.

[ Stood up and made his way over to said spot, not forgetting his beer. It's half-empty now. ]

[Katsura grabs another cup of beer before going to the spot, spending some time watching other people before he speaks again.]

It's still quite noisy here, but I've never seen everyone looking so happy. [It almost looks like he wants to add something else to that sentence, but he decides to drink more beer instead.]

[ The alcohol has probably started to get into his system, so that means he's going to let out a lighthearted laugh instead of giving Katsura his usual srsface. ]

It's Oktoberfest. It's supposed to be noisy and of course people are happy. What did you expect?

[Katsura hasn't quite been affected yet, but let's face it- it's not like being drunk would affect him much.]

Ha ha ha! Eirikur-san, what a thing to say. If I had just looked at you when I entered, I would have thought that this was a bachelor party for unhappy bachelors.
