He didn't care if she was sick, all the pent-up anger and spite that had twisted and wound itself around his heart (or his illusion of one) burst. Red clouded his vision as he suddenly brought his leg out to swiftly kick her head, not holding back. The girl wasn't human she wasn't innocent- this was what she deserved and although Allen's words haunted him he didn't stop.

Perhaps it was pure foolishness that he went through with this despite Allen's desperate wishes. After getting to know the boy Lavi still couldn't understand him, how he found his way into his heart and mind and stuck himself there like a thorn.

"Hey, let's play a game. You like games, right?" His voice dripped with venom as he spoke, circling her small form. One blade, sharp and bright in the dazzling sun, stuck out of his arm.

Her vision went white when he kicked her, neck popping uncomfortably as she fell with a cry. She rolled, managing to avoid falling into her own mess. It took her a moment to recover enough to attempt rising to her knees once more, but Rhode staggered, ears still ringing from the blow.

"I know you do," she responded bitterly, managing a shaky, nasty smile. "Not a good place for your playacting, though- Your friends aren't here to believe your lies." Rhode was well aware it wasn't wise to goad him, but she knew it was much easier for someone to slip up when they were enraged.

That wouldn't be a far fall for the Bookman, based on how hard he'd kicked her.

"I'm not playing." And with that he punches her again with his normal hand, this time aimed at her face. He wasn't ready to cut her yet, but he would. He only wished he could finish her off with his hammer. That would be the icing on the cake.

Lavi grabbed her hair, grip tight, and shoved her again to the floor. He hoped the roof gravel hurt. "You will die here, you know." Maybe not on this roof, but in this world she would.

The sensation of cartilage crunching in her nose brought tears to her eyes, and she brought a hand up to her face automatically to cover it. Blood dripped onto her fingers, but just as the pain really started to set in--

"Let go!" Rhode grabbed for the wrist holding her hair, cringing at the smart of his jerking grip. It was a futile attempt that only made it more painful when he shoved her down, hand that had been covering her bloodied nose jarred into hitting it again. The Noah couldn't stop herself from crying out at the fresh stabs of pain, choking back a sob as she tried to get some purchase to push herself up. The gravel was sticking to her hand, the metallic taste of her own blood hot in her mouth as she shouted.

"Mby fambly will rip you apart the instant you get home if you kill me," she coughed, voice thick from her injured nose.
