Time: 27th September, a little past six in the evening. This happens while Dante is being trapped.
Description: While Dante goes on a date and gets trapped, Date and Riou go on a different sort of date.

Riou was a little excited. After days of nothing but trouble, Death City looked like it was finally going to get peaceful-- and he finally had time to spend with Sir Date! Of course, the trouble with Witches and Kishin Eggs weren't completely gone, but for now, they could rest easy. He doubted there would be another attack soon, anyway. The Witches suffered a great loss from yesterday's attack. They were probably regrouping somewhere, and he knew Shibusen will try to stop any more of their advances.

"Just once," Riou answered, smiling sheepishly as he recalled the first time Hai Yo served ice cream. "My sister put salt in it though, and I was told you didn't do it that way." Then again, he was also told Nanami couldn't cook. He thought she had gotten better, though. Her sweet and sour pork was something he enjoyed after all.

Date let out a small snort of amusement at Riou's words, though really, he couldn't say much for himself - he had never known about ice-cream until he was here, and even then it took a while before he could get used to the concept. Frozen delicacies... yet another indication of what the future could create in the five centuries he had been lost in his trip here due to BREW ( ... )

For a moment Date had to blink momentarily at the other's response (did he just hear Dante instead of his name?), but quickly put is aside in favour of glancing at the favours as well, gaze falling onto the one that had Riou confused. Cookie dough... he had seen it before, he hadn't really tried it just yet in the few times he had been here.

"Beats me," he replied with a shrug, now intrigued himself as well - he supposed it was just a name for the flavour, but he had to admit that the name did raise a few eyebrows. Really, sometimes he could never quite get the future...

Glancing towards Riou, Date grinned as he then spoke. "You want to try it?" If anything, it would be an interesting (and possibly eventful) experience.
