Time: 27th September, a little past six in the evening. This happens while Dante is being trapped.
Description: While Dante goes on a date and gets trapped, Date and Riou go on a different sort of date.
Date knew about Dante's plans of course (how could he not, with the way his Weapon had been on about it the whole time) and so just let the other head off for his things once their shift was over. There wasn't much to do anyway, and everybody was still pretty much recovering from the invasion of the sand constructs yesterday. Sand was still everywhere, but the efforts of Shibusen and everyone else had cleared up a great deal of it already.
It was a good thing that Death Robbins wasn't harmed as well - Date was starting to find himself enjoying this 'ice-cream' thing in recent days - and so on a whim more than anything else he decided to head there for a bite before going back to his place at the Heights. But eating alone wasn't that all nice, which was why he had taken the kid along with him; he hadn't had too many opportunities to talk with him anyway (what with recent events and all), and this would be a good chance to rectify that.
Standing before the entrance of the establishment, Date looked towards Riou, a smile on his face as he asked. "Ever tried ice-cream before, kid?"
