Ah. The noise and sigh slipped out at about the same time in both his mind and mouth. He had halted suddenly, but he did not think that it was out of hesitation as it was simply sorting out his own thoughts. I wonder what sort of conversation that we will have this time. Clovis closed his eyes for a moment, feeling his shoulders raise slightly in amusement, before continuing as he was.
A prince and one who rules others should not falter or be afraid of any sort of consequences. That sort of lesson that he had picked up from his sister and brother. Clovis nodded slightly to himself, agreeing with his own thoughts. My confidence has been a little shaky lately, but I am still one of the representatives of Britannia. Euphie is doing a marvelous job, and I should do the same.Even if it was simply lunch, he still remembered what it was that he had said to Genesis the last time -- that he would show a far better role than the one that he had before, when his announcement of everyone being Honorary Britannians went so poorly. Finally

As the door opened, the mouthwatering smell of chicken and herbs (and a touch of lemon) came through. Genesis smiled, with a white apron over his black shirt and denim pants.
"Clovis. Glad to see you made it." He stepped aside, welcoming the prince in. "The chicken will still take a little while to cook, but it just means you'll be getting it straight from the oven."
Do all of them know how to cook? A hobby that he never actually pursued -- why cook if there were those present that could do so for him? However, he knew better than to voice something aloud, especially if it meant that he would not be able to eat such a meal. The smell alone was too promising. His hand did come to his mouth at the sight of the apron though, like it was some scandal. Hm.
"A prince should keep all of their appointments." Clovis returned his hand to what he was holding -- the red jacket that he promised. Without as may bells and whistles as former-former-former detective Adrian Monk's suit had, it was almost unfortunate, but he already gave reason as to why it was prudent. The gift itself was folded carefully and hid for the sake that it seemed strange and embarrassing to just have it under his arm or thrust it into the other's hand like some dead fish

Genesis had to chuckle as he saw Clovis eye his apron. Of course-- Clovis was a prince. He might have not seen a lot of everyday people wearing aprons like he did. Oh well.
When Clovis held out the jacket to him, Genesis couldn't help but smile warmly at such a pleasant surprise. "I didn't expect that you would be done with it so soon..." He unfolded it, revealing the well-made form. It was simple, even more simple than the red coat he wore as a SOLDIER, but it was beautiful in its simplicity. Elegant, even. Genesis loved it. It was perfect for cool nights.
"You shouldn't call it payment for the meal, Clovis. After all, it's more like a present from me to you." He folded the jacket neatly once more.
