The morning had been quiet for all of Death City - well. As quiet as things could be, in a place with so many people from other worlds living in it. Just like any other day, with everyone going about their business.
But while things were calm for everyone else, Miranda had spend the morning in a nervous frenzy. Miranda has spent all of yesterday in a mild panic as well, running around trying to clean up her apartment in time for Winry's visit this morning. Winry had said she wanted to practice! But she hadn't said outright if she wanted a partner yet...maybe, if this went well, and Winry wasn't too disgusted by the state of Miranda's apartment...
Oh god, what was she thinking? the place was still a mess? How could Winry ever want to partner up with a failure like Miranda? She raced around, desperately trying to keep cleaning...
