Description: Kanji finally moves in with Naoto and Raidou; they have dinner together to celebrate the occasion.

It took Kanji a significant amount of time to actually pack up his apartment. Sentimental reasons aside (though he didn't consider himself a sentimental man), he had been put off schedule by the mission, the witch invasion, and finally, the aftermath. So much was going on and he could hardly keep up with everyone else. He felt kinda useless without a partner, even if he was still trying his best to help out and put his "skills" to good use.

His apartment was full to the brim of stuff - kitchen supplies, furniture, clothes, his sewing supplies. He could hardly pack it all into as few boxes as he could. It didn't work as well as he wanted it too, but he did manage to get all of his clothes into one box, and his sewing stuff into the two more. Nothing else really mattered, now that he seemed to be moving from place to place. Three apartments since he'd been there.

Grabbing his boxes, he stepped outside and nodded when he saw Naoto. "Hey," he said, shifting the boxes in his hands.

"Kanji-kun!" Naoto pushed away from the wall and looked at him, face twisted in something of an awkward expression of concern. "Can...I help?" She realized a moment after that there probably wasn't much she could do, considering her height and musculature.

"I'll get the door." The detective improvised, holding it open so he could bring his boxes inside.

"Thanks, but I got this," Kanji said as he set the boxes outside. He dusted off his hands and rubbed his back a bit, tired from all the time spent packing. "This is all I got of my stuff." It really wasn't his stuff though, except for the clothes. He had at last made those.

"But I got one more box instead of all the food we had stored. You know, 'cause of the shortage. Figured that could be like...my first month's rent or something." He smiled.

The young detective scoffed before she had a chance to restrain herself. Her cheeks pinked with color at her dismissive noise. "You don't need to pay rent." She said gruffly. "Room and board is provided for by Shibusen - there is no need to give us anything when we don't need to pay for the apartment." Her felt her observation was an astute one.

Raidou eventually came around to the apartment, feeling a little exhausted but otherwise all right. It was incredibly hard, making sure everything at the Agency was in order...

The boy detective knocked once before entering.

"I am home."
