[Taiwan didn't really want to go to China's dinner but she didn't have much a choice. She didn't want to rude after he invited Kitty and everyone else. It just wouldn't seem fair to reject such an offer.

Anyway, she entered into the apartment trying to make sure that China doesn't bother her at all.]

[Hong Kong arrived a little earlier than most of the others, stepping out of his shoes as he entered the apartment, and in his hands, he held a head of lettuce and small jar of five-spice.

He had offered to help cook after all, and was prepared to make good on that promise. Anyone arriving later would find him in the kitchen, looking mildly disinterested as he cooked.]

[ that jar would be taken with much relish, and a broad smile for the lettuce; and he was moving as quickly as expected, whirling from one place to another. ]

[She came a little later, and in her hands is a large tub of ice cream. As gift or peace offering, she wasn't sure but it should at least help cool things up considering the temperature.

She's not wearing white today, as Hong Kong had advised her earlier. Blue should be alright, shouldn't it?]

[ he spots her from across the room, and the tub's given a very obvious curious look-- but as a host should, he's heading over in the next second, arms extended for the ice cream before he even properly opens his mouth. ]

[Her smile is wider now, and she hands it over without hesitation. He looked a lot less... grumpy today, which was an improvement. Was it because of the family gathering?]
