[Video] December 7th | Morning

[here appears a man: white hair, light eyes, pale skin with a strange mark on his forehead, even white clothes with faintly glowing circuits. He's surprising adept with the communication device even after only being in Death City for a very short amount of time. He's grinning ear to ear with a smile that could put the best used car salesman to ( Read more... )

[Have an excited and curious blonde on the feed, Castor]

You're a Program?

Well aren't you the clever one? Yes indeed, my dearie. I am.

That makes three Programs! I'm Rikku.

A pleasure, Rikku. [bows his head to her]

Three? May I inquire after their identity? [nevermind that he's about to meet them in the comments below]

[It's a shock of red hair and a face so pretty it could have belonged to a girl. Except it doesn't. It belongs to someone who looks perpetually happy and curious.]

It's pretty neat out here, actually! But I'm pretty sure most people call it Death City instead of the User's World.

I'm Takuto. [And another smile, just for good measure.]

[smiling right back. someone else is curious too!]

Just as the city exists inside the Grid, so Death City exists in the User World. It's quite the same really. Except not, in quite a fundamental way.

Greetings, Takuto. And what is it you find the most "neat" about this place?

[He has no idea what this whole "Grid" and "User World" means, but just smiles, nods, and moves on to the question.]

Hmmm... there's people who can turn into weapons! That's pretty neat. [He pauses for a moment and then continues.] And I think the sun and the moon are kinda bizarre, but neat in their own way. I just like meeting new people, though!

[just one small part of a whole, but moving on!]
We don't have "sun" and "moon" in the Grid, so it's all very bizarre to someone like me. But I find new acquaintances enticing, not matter how strange.

Yes, the concept of changing forms is simply riveting. Have you done such a thing? What's it like?

[Have a man dressed in white with blue circuits all over his clothes and helmet. He smiles back at Castor, amused and glad to see more programs here.]

Everything is really bright, isn't it? But I do enjoy the way colors look now.

Hello Castor, I'm Ram.

[Oh, Zuse recognizes an old system program when he sees one. Though he's never met one, Zuse himself was only a few cycles separated from that era. It's within his programmed memory]

Oh my my~ what have we here? Quite the attire you have there, Ram. My I inquire as to your designation?

The concept of colour is a very interesting experience here. It has such potential, don't you think?

[Yea, Ram is many things but hard to miss is not one of them.]

It's my gladiatorial armor, I didn't had much time to change between being derezzed and arriving here. Not like I have any other clothes. [Just the spandex -like suit under the armor, and that's seven more form fitting.] I'm an actuarial program.

What does being a middle-man for Zuse implies? I've never heard of him before. [Ram smiles and his face brighten up.] More than I ever imagined. This place is fascinati8ng.

Gladiatorial? You're a player on the gaming grid? A champion, no doubt, derezzed in his prime. Sounds like nasty business to me.

[Here he's not mentioning his own deresolution. Nasty business, indeed.]

I'm an actuarial program myself, but I have never met two who focus on quite the same algorithms. I'm in the entertainment business, myself. It is Zuse's function to be the most well-informed program on the Grid, and I am the translator from Zuse's mouth to a program's ears. It's quite rewarding, I assure you.

[Oh a friendly one. He likes it when they're friendly]

It's all a matter perspective, little one. What's weird is only that there is so much changed from the Grid to this place. And it's far to early for me to cast judgement without all the information. Don't you think?

Nya~ I guess. What's the Grid?

It's an isolated system that would bring you just as much wonderment as this place does to me. Home to the most fabulous nightclub ever created, an all-night dance party called "End of Line".

[Rinzler is just staring at the screen. The purr? It's low and dangerous, like a cat waiting to strike. Of all the programs to show up, did it have to be Zuse?]

[don't let this smile fool you, he's juuust as happy to see you too.]

Ah. Rinzler. A pleasure as always.

As luck would have it, I've only just arrived. And after a brief guided tour, here I am.

The better question, my usually silent friend, concerns a rumour I've heard. You are here alone, I gather?
