You'll probably be passing the time for quite a bit. It's not as exciting as people make it sound.

War rarely is. The battles, the victories, the losses ... they all run together at a monotonous sort of pace.

Pretty much. I don't think most people would understand though.

Well, aren't you the most optimistic person around here?

My pessimism is a fact I revel in. You should only find fault and despair in those that are overtly optimistic for they are the ones who will die first.

[Ouch]

But at least they live their life to the fullest and probably have no regrets either.

Does that mean they will live longer than others? What point is there in living your life to the fullest if eventually you will die before those that you wish to outlive?

[OH GOD WHY.]

So BREW has brought you here.

Why if it isn't the Right Eye of the Dragon.

The BREW seemed to decide to take my treasures from me to bring me here to search for me. I thought it would be fine to go along with it for now. Antique shops have not gone out of trend, I hope, but I suppose that it would not. Everyone has a desire to hold onto precious items of the past. That fact will never change in man.

And that is all you wish to do. Set up an antique shop.

I see no reason to do more than what I did before -- collect precious treasures.

Civilised and barbaric. Isn't that curious!

Whom are you trying to provoke?

Provoke?

I am trying to provoke no one. If people find reason to become upset in my words, then the fault of such lies with them. In the end, people will say many things that are upsetting or enlightening, but these moments are fleeting at best and should be forgotten just as easily.

Oh? What is deserving of memory, then? Beyond your prized skull and antiques.

Nothing.

When these items eventually break, I will forget about them, too. Nothing is worth holding on to longer than what is necessary.
