I have been observing morning training for several days now, and I have been wondering -- What is the nature of a partnership here in Death City? Do you Meisters see your Weapons as tools? Friends? Subordinates? Do you Weapons feel compelled to obey the whims of your Meisters absolutely

Sounds a lot like back home. Humans and non-humans can get along and become friends, even partners and family. I think it's the same here. I know me and Armstrong get along pretty well!

If you're really curious though, I already have a Weapon, but if ya wanna try Resonance to see what it's like...

It is strange. I had never imagined humans and non-humans could get along, nor did I think myself to be in the wrong. It was good to discover otherwise, I think.

You don't have to. They said when we got here that no one is forced to fight. Heh, I love fighting so it's easy for me, but I guess not everyone is like that.

I don't know whether I intend to fight yet. But I do wonder if resonating, or even having a partner would help me understand other things.
