[The feed begins with a quiet thunk as the communicator is set down upon a thin metal surface. It's night time and the sounds of a thunderstorm rage in the background, and visibility is poor at best. Still, a man in blue and a man in red are visible, even if they appear mildly blurry

[Cain is staring at the communicator with a very interested look, his eyebrows raised in surprise.]

Glad to hear it. Although I didn't mean to give such a performance.

[He's proud of himself, yes yes, but Vergil didn't tell him he was recording the encounter.]

[Yuna is grinning happily at the screen, clapping her hands together in applause.]

[He registers surprise and blinks, then smiles in response.]

Thank you. [...then realizes he's smiling and amends that to more of a smirk. Cough. He picks up the communicator and fiddles with it for a moment, flicking over something.]

Did the recording manage a clear view of what that thing was?

[She nods her head, still grinning. She even laughs a bit when his expression changes.] You're welcome.

[Yuna waits as he messes with something on the communicator.]

It was a little dark and blurry because of all the rain, but I could tell it was pretty big.

[He runs a hand through his hair with mild irritation. So they still don't know what they're dealing with. Oh well. At least it was proven that they could be killed, despite being made of sand.]

Alright. [He was examining the video for himself. As Yuna says, nothing conclusive. He muses for a moment.]

I can understand why people are being abducted, if these things are responsible. They don't seem entirely solid, so normal weapons may not be overly effective.

[He tilts his head slightly.] You should be careful when you're exploring the city. Take someone with you, if you can. [He'd say 'and not at night', but that's when Vergil patrols.]

[a whistle.]

Very, very impressive, fellas. Did you rehearse?

No. I didn't even know that he was recording this. Show-off. [But that amused Genesis, sort of.]

[Long, long cold stare at Genesis before he jumps in.]

I was trying to get a recording of what it was that's abducting everybody, so we'd know what we're dealing with. [Seriously. This came across the totally wrong way.]

Apparently we ended up impressing people instead of informing them. And besides that, what about what you said last? "Consider this our application?"

They weren't exactly planned, but I hope they recommend us all the same. [Actually, he's rather relieved that worked at all. They've only used the flame aura before once and by accident.]
