In regards to this planet, I must say the sun it's orbiting appears... quite different from the other solar systems I've investigated, to say the least. ..Is that a hologram of some sort?

..Yes, it's a term applied to civilizations whose level of technological advancements fall beneath more modern capabilities, such as the ability to travel through space.

However, this planet appears to be the Earth of roughly 80 or so years ago, so it's not quite what we'd call 'underdeveloped'. The directions those advancements have taken still differ from that of Eldar's when it was at a similar stage..

More curiously, they seem to differ from Earth's natural advancement. That may be due to the influence of other civilizations, however..
