[Green hair and purple eyes peer closely at the feed along with a set of strangely artificial ears. A young male voice sounds through, seemingly speaking to himself at first]I've been told this mirror functions as a communication device. How fascinating. The technology on this planet appears to be quite different from our own. It's always ( Read more... )

I don't think I've heard of anyone who called themselves Eldarians here.

As for information, I'm no expert, but if there's anything in particular you want to ask I could try to answer your questions.

Very well. I'd hope all of them were able to reach Lemuris safely, then. [Whatever was left of them anyway.. But he would never forgive himself if they hadn't]

In regards to this planet, I must say the sun it's orbiting appears... quite different from the other solar systems I've investigated, to say the least. ..Is that a hologram of some sort?

[Ah, the sun.] No. It's the real sun. It even drools sometimes. [Just wait till you see the moon.]

It.. drools?

[Vaguely grossed out expression and an apprehensive glance upward] I must confess, I find that the most difficult to believe over everything else I've heard about this world so far. ..Just what is this planet?

Yes. [Unfortunately.]

The books I've read say it's called 'Earth.'

Earth? [Edge and Reimi's planet?] That can't be. Unless..

[Unless this is another 'alternate' Earth. Had the Sol been sucked into the black hole Nox Obscurus created? It seems like the only explanation. It must have been damaged. Underdeveloped civilizations and they're convoluted explanations for things..]

..Strange, although, not outside the realm of possibility. Do you happen to know what year it is, Miss..?

Auqa. My name is Aqua. And the year here is 2010. We just celebrated New Years not too long ago.

...if you've heard of this planet before, you should know it might not be the one you knew. I'm not from Earth myself, but there are people who were brought here from alternate Earths.

Yes, I thought that might be the case. [What year had the Earthling calendar been set on? 2096. 86 years into the past. This war is likely far too old to be the one that destroys the surface of the planet, at least]

It's a pleasure meeting you, Miss Aqua. I greatly appreciate your kindness. If I may ask, however, what planet are you from yourself?

Just 'Aqua' will be fine. And I'm from a world known as the Land of Departure.

Very well, then.

..The 'Land of Departure'. I can't say I've heard of it, but from the sounds of it, people from many different worlds have been brought here. I suppose that can only be expected.

[She blinked.]

You've travelled to different worlds before?

Yes. A fair few, I should say. We Eldarians were looking for a new planet to inhabit as our sun swelled and the surface of Eldar slowly became more inhospitable over the years.

[And now it, along with most of it's population, were gone]

...We've made plans to settle on Lemuria- or Lemuris- the land of our ancestors.

I hadn't realized there were other people who could do that. [Then again...she'd found 626 in a spaceship, hadn't she?]

I'm sorry. About what happened to your home world.

[It's alright, he should say, but it isn't. The loss is still very new. But he smiles a little and nods]

Yes, Eldarian technology has had the capability of space travel for centuries. Earthlings only recently achieved it themselves, though they've vastly improved through the alliance with Eldar. I wasn't aware there were many other advanced civilizations out there, but it sounds like yours is one of them.

[The pain of losing your home world is never easy to bear. She knows this only all too well.]

...it's a little different for my world.
