So, what do little girls like to do in a day? How does one keep them entertained for long periods of time? It shouldn't be that hard, but does anyone have any suggestions that might be helpful?
Strife. [Because no greeting? But obviously he's alive and well and it's not like Turks are people to hold grudges over social slights.]
Little girls, in my experience, don't fall into a general category. Some like to play outside, others like board games, others entertain themselves with dolls or other toys. Why don't you ask the child in question what she's interested in and purchase items accordingly?

Tseng. Welcome to the war party.
It's Marlene Wallace. I've become some kind of impromptu guardian for her needs since she arrived. I just am not a parental type, but I want the best for her. I suppose I could ask.

From experience, children often want to be treated as miniature adults. Don't give her a blowtorch or anything, but I believe she would be old enough to entertain herself, largely. Perhaps you could find other children for her to play with?

It is unfortunate to see you depart, Cloud Strife. You have been quite the capable ally to work alongside.
[His tone seem to indicate that he does agree with the reasoning, given his militaristic background, but he's not interested in causing waves either way. Besides, his attentions are focused more on his project rather than the code of conduct within a military-type organisation.]

An admirable trait to wish of such things, but one does not need the position to do what they can to protect the city. If you are in need of anything, do not hesitate to ask.
Not for a little girl it isn't. Just being noticed by someone, anyone. Take her out somewhere, somewhere you can explore, spend time with her. That means more to them than gifts. [This is nostalgic, making her think of her own Father. The constant urge to surpass and impress him..to train so his eyes would be on her. The moment when she became his successor..]

Stories before bed I might be able to do. That doesn't seem complicated.

To be honest, I don't know what to do with myself. I've been with the Watch since the beginning. It's... a huge part of my life.
