Had Leo still any sense left in him and would he have known what Ryoki was feeling right now, he would have laughed and asked him how it felt to be in reversed positions for once. When he'd enjoyed it enough (which would have probably been very soon) he'd have added on a gentler note that self-sacrificing something for a friend wasn't about getting credit for it, or getting any kind of reward for it period. It was about doing what you thought was the right thing. Which made it that damn dangerous. But he wasn't thinking clearly right now. There was some sort of faraway sound that kept getting louder and louder ringing in his ears and when Ryoki moved in to attack - it was like unleashing a spring. The half-lion reacted automatically, skidding back on his machines so that the knee missed him. The fists still hit him, connecting against the ribs rather than his guts since he had crouched down to keep his balance on the wheels of his machines ( ... )

Leo let out an angry hiss as he realized what Ryoki was about to do. Twisting like crazy and ignoring the pain in his scalp it caused he tried to turn his head to the side before Ryoki could break his nose. He managed to do it partially and the bull's head connected with his own a little under his temple. The blow was enough to make his whole body jerk and loosen up for a moment and his mouth opened in a soundless scream.

Then he tried to box Ryoki in the short ribs and bite him in the neck at the same time, instincts taking over where the brain was too dazed to work and blinked in and out of unconsciousness.

Ryoki was probably half expecting some sort of kick or punch as revenge for his strike, however, he was not expecting teeth. His eyes widen and that was his cue to use his other hand to protect the neck before it was bitten; as the fangs sunk in the already burned flesh, Ryoki's cry of pain was muffled with coughing due to the hit to his ribcage.

However, that actually proved to be the smartest thing, at least in his point of view. The hurt hand gripped on Leo's face, allowing him to keep bitting it, and the other still gripping on the blond hair, Ryoki glanced back. Well. There was no window for him to smash Leo's face against, but there was a wall and that would do.

Ryoki gave a couple of steps back and tried to move himself and Leo in order to force the lion's face against the wall.

The wheels of Leo's machines skidded against the rough ground of the street as he tried to force his way against Ryoki the moment his brain was halfway back to working again but once more his shoes proved to be a disadvantage in an actual fight that wasn't about speed.

Letting go of Ryoki's hand and spitting out he had barely time to howl a "RYOKI!!" before his face connected with the wall.

The bull released Leo's hair when he made sure the lion couldn't escape the hit. Now with both his hands free, the bull stepped away from Leo, just in case he tried to punch Ryoki back, and that's when he noticed how much his body hurt all over, but specially his hand.

He bit him. The fuck!?

The bull hissed, squeezing his hand to dissipate the pain and gave a couple more steps back, but the pain at his hip reminded him there were other places he should be worried about too.

Leo remained leaning against the wall some more. The noise in his head made him feel like one of those tv sets that got broken and had all that white, sizzly traffic rather than those clear pics that were supposed to be there but his body felt pleasantly warm despite all the noise. Shouldn't he be hurting by now? He was pretty sure that he should be hurting. Or feel anything, at least rage. Somehow he had forgotten the point of this all while trying to harm his target, which ....was Ryo-kun. Right. He was going to kill him ( ... )

Goddamnit, he still wanted more?! Just how the fuck could he even move after this?! Ryoki’s leg hurt too much, and his shoulder, and his hand, and his burns, and his back and his face. Heck Ryoki was hurting all over. And this has gone for far too long. Seeing Leo rising up again, Ryoki stepped back. He considered attacking the Half again, but noticing how hard it was for him to even get up, Ryo understood that yes, they were done.

Done now and for good, because the bull was seriously pissed at him. It was due to his tiredness, soreness and pain, and also to the fact that he wanted to leave the city as fast as possible, that he didn’t go further. But this wasn’t something he’d forget anytime soon.

The bull begun to walk away, not turning his back to the other just in case Leo still had enough energy for a last sprint. As he did so, he ripped a bit of his shirt with his teeth to wrap around his hand (AND YOU BETTER NOT HAVE RABIES, LEO)

The answer was pure willpower but even that was blacking out faster and faster as he watched the bull back off.

Despite the catastrophic state he was in Leo smirked and held the bull's gaze as long as he could. This time Ryoki was looking at him. This time.. He tried to force his tired muscles to move once more. He wanted to continue the fight, make him look more. His frame shivered once and then he crashed to the ground for good. The last thing that the half-lion was aware of was the throbbing ache of just about everything in him and then the world around him turned black.
