Had Leo still any sense left in him and would he have known what Ryoki was feeling right now, he would have laughed and asked him how it felt to be in reversed positions for once. When he'd enjoyed it enough (which would have probably been very soon) he'd have added on a gentler note that self-sacrificing something for a friend wasn't about getting credit for it, or getting any kind of reward for it period. It was about doing what you thought was the right thing. Which made it that damn dangerous.

But he wasn't thinking clearly right now. There was some sort of faraway sound that kept getting louder and louder ringing in his ears and when Ryoki moved in to attack - it was like unleashing a spring. The half-lion reacted automatically, skidding back on his machines so that the knee missed him. The fists still hit him, connecting against the ribs rather than his guts since he had crouched down to keep his balance on the wheels of his machines.

The attack drove the air out of his lungs and Leo back, but he immediatedly switched his position into one from which out he could attack himself, straightening up a little as he regarded Ryoki with an amused look before it suddenly turned serious. "Is that all? You can do better than that, Ryo-kun."

There was one important thing that he usually never told anybody about his meister ability: with the loss of self-control also came the loss of the ability to feel pain while its effects lasted. And right now he had no reason to try for any sort of control anymore.

"I will." Ryoki found nothing of this amusing. Since he had blown up his apartment and realized that the fire was no longer that bitter-sweet escape he had been living with, not one single thing of this whole situation was funny. He didn't laugh, he didn't smile, and he didn't enjoy any of it.

He would have to fight Leo and this time it was going to be a real fight. He'd move in to hurt, hurt enough so he'd remember his marks. Even with the disadvantage of not having rollerblades, Ryoki spent most of his goddamn life fighting and being beaten up, so he was sure he could kick Leo's ass. Hard.

While he wasn't amused, he was angry. Angry about a lot of things, and he was also scared, and he felt like destroying everything and just make the whole world go away, so that turmoil of emotions would aid him with that. "Come on, Leo. Show me you aren't as pathetic as your little human friends." even if he said this, the bull was the one charging right away.

Leo waited until the last moment before he evaded again, casually, laughing nastily.

"'Little human friends'? What the hell are you talking about?" Ryoki seemed to forget once again that he wasn't alone when he had had grown up fighting and being beaten. Leo had been there as well right by his side and even though the bull was an inch better than him at good days (which he definitely didn't have right now) the lion was still confident in his ability to bring him down. Ryoki might be a heavy hitter, but so was Leo and his feline heritage made him more agile than him. That, and unlike him he could use his head for more than ramming things.

Skating back so that he'd stand closer to the still burning car, the Half turned his head to the side, feigning a questioning look. "Ne, Ryo-kun, could it be that you're jealous or scared of getting replaced?" He grinned. There weren't that many candidates he knew that were real humans. "Isit Bakura? Lil' kid was all alone and needy and I wanted to find out how it felt to have a human as a pet. He'd be better if he were a pretty girl and not that damn clingy. Or maybe Lili?"

Taking a 'step' back, he spread his hands. He wanted Ryoki to charge at him again. "You mentioned her before, right? She's got a nice body and gets as fucking high on fighting as you do, after all. Well, I'll tell you something about daddy's little princess. Two things, actually." He smirked, raising one finger. "First, she asked me over for christmas eve. Girl's got the hots for me and wanted to fuck me allll night long~~ " He laughed derisively and raised a second finger. "And second, ya wanted to become partners with her, right? But she didn't go through with her promise... Poor Ryo-kun, getting his hopes crushed by a mean girl again! Shall I tell you a secret? The reason for her change of mind was me. She asked me and I told her not to do it." Because he had thought that those two becoming a team would be like asking for a countdown before their combined battle-lust would get them seriously injured or killed, but he didn't say that. He wanted to hurt Ryoki and the one thing he knew the bull couldn't bear were psychological attacks.

Ryoki couldn’t really care less if Leo was fucking (or had been invited to it) Lili. In any other time, he’d have been terribly curious about it since that would mean Leo took a step closer to becoming a man (and this time with a real woman!). Right now, he just didn’t caqre who fucked who.

But he did care for Leo’s next words and those were what made Ryoki ask himself if he had thought too high of Leo when he saw him this night. This Lili thing happened before Christmas. So this meant Leo boycotted Ryoki’s possibility to trust someone knowingly. What the fuck?
Leo wanted to break Ryoki even more than he already was? Well, that only lead to one thing one:

Fuck all of this.
Fuck him.

“Fuck you!” Ryoki spit those words with a bull-ish huff, and charged right after, blinded but trying to lead his fist towards the half-lion’s face.

"Hah!" Leo let out a wry bark of a laugh as his words worked. Using the advantage of the light in his back he took a risk and moved towards Ryoki just as he was about to hit him, catching his hand and letting himself fall backwards in order to use his weight and toss Ryoki towards the burning mess of metal and plastic that had once been a car.

He gasped as his back hit the ground, feeling the toll the action had taken on his body that was already on the verge of collapsing even though he couldn't feel any of the pain he should have been in right now. His head felt as clear as it hadn't for a very long time, too, which couldn't be a good sign. Despite this he laughed. He didn't care for his sanity or humanity anymore, and fuck, hey, maybe it was with him like with those people who had pushed them that far that they'd gotten past the point where everything hurt and reached a stance of euphoric ease that meant that they were damaging themselves by any further step they were taking. Maybe he wouldn't be able to move properly anymore starting from tomorrow on. He didn't care.

His plans for now were simple. Ryoki had chosen to die anyway, but he was still Leo's responsibility. And like he had told Yuuri so many weeks ago, he wouldn't let his friend become a kishin egg or leave dealing with him to others. He was his. His friend, his fault, his torture, his brother, his burden. Nobody but him had the right to end him!

Laughing in a shrill animalic voice he barely recognized as his own he forced himself to get back on his feet and call for the bull. "Hey, Ryo-chan, did ya survive this? Since ya want to end this race anyway I'm gonna give you the fire, okay?" Later he would take care of himself. But first Ryoki, he needed a proper burial.

The moment the bull hit the car and noticed the flames so close to him, he screamed in panic. More than the pain he felt, the fear he felt was bigger, and the bull hurried to get away from the burning vehicle and tried to put out the flames that were burning his clothes.

His burns, for now, didn’t matter, because he had other matter at hands much more important. Ryoki shook his head to clear the fear, and got up again, nearly growling. He rushed again -- and would do so again and again, if necessary - towards Leo, and this time he didn’t prepare any attack. He just wanted to get closer to the half-lion for the moment.

Leo let out a growling noise that was barely human anymore an brushed his bandanna off that had somehow managed to catch fire on one end. Then he charged at Ryoki as well, fully meaning to either smash his thick skull against the asphalt or catch him by the throat and strangle him, whatever he got to do first.

When they were close, Ryoki focused to turn into his weapon form - fighting Saleh constantly had a lot of positive points and figuring out how to do this during a fight was one of them. He wasn't able to stay in his Weapon form for too long, but it was enough. When the crutch falls on the floor, Ryoki waits only a little to turn back again, giving him a new angle for attacking Leo - from below.

Leo barely registered when Ryoki changed into a Weapon - all it meant to him was that that way it would be easier for him to grab and hurt him that way. He also didn't react to getting hit by the bull, only stepping back and laughing a little again.

"Oh, come on! I barely even felt that!" Because his Meister ability was canceling out any sensation that would keep him from giving his all during a battle, but he didn't think about that. All he thought was that the blow had been ridiculously weak compared to what the bull's hits usually did to their victims. Had he overestimated him all the time? He sneered. "You can do better than that!"

After that hit, the boy didn’t waste time, moving for another, this time with his leg. He aimed his kick at the lion’s head, screaming with anger as a response to his taunting words. While he knew that first hit should have hurt like a bitch, Ryoki didn’t think much about it since he was focused on kicking Leo’s ass.

Leo saw the kick coming and blocked it calmly with his hand, barely registering that it got numb. He stared at it for a moment, but it didn't seem broken and the fire was still burning through his veins. His pupils were narrowed into slits as it was now him who was looking against the fire, the yellow part of them unnaturally wide. He turned his head to look at Ryoki.

"Disappointing. I'll start going as well now, okay?" Wow, that had just sounded like the text of a bad villain. Wondering if it'd be better if the other screamed while saying it, he moved forward, his still working hand aiming to plant a crushing fist at Ryoki's hip-joint. First, stop 'em from moving. Second, make them cry.

The bull screamed in pain when he felt the hit, falling on the floor. "Fuck fuck FUCK!!" there was just no way he'd lose to Leo. His leg (actually, his waist, but the pain spread to his leg) hurt, but he still managed to stand up.

So the best way to avoid attacks right now would be to turn into his weapon form. While Ryoki wasn't a fan of this method - in a way, it was sort of pathetic, even if it was technically his "ability" or whatever - he'd have to use it because he was waisting way too much time with this already. He had to knock Leo out and he had to move before Shibusen showed up.

He'd use the goddamn car if he had to; press Leo's face against the fucking fire, he didn't care at this point. Or throw Leo at a window glass, now that could work too - he remembered how getting his face pres against broken glass hurt like hell. He looked around just to make sure there was a window nearby, and waited for the half-lion's next move.

The only reason he didn't hit Ryoki right again was because his roller blades didn't make for good shoes to fight on. Taking a deep breath he skated two 'steps' back, aimed for a moment and then charged. He knew that Ryoki would have to be trying something against him again but he was sure that he could deal with it.

Ryoki didn't charge; as a matter of fact, he stepped back as if he was trying to escape the other who ran towards him, but he stopped when he close enough of the building (not too close, since he still needed room).

The bull decided not to protect himself against Leo's hit and, instead, he made sure he got as close as he could and a hand reached behind Leo's head to grip at the hair as hard as he could "Fuck you, Mister long-hair."

Leo had moved in for a shoulder tackle, but then he remembered in time that his hand was damaged (and thus couldn't do as good damage) and switched to trying to land a jab against Ryoki's shoulder joint (the one opposing the hip he'd earlier got) with his good hand instead.

Feeling Ryoki grab his hair and hearing his words, he gave him bloodied grin. "As if you haven't done that often enough by now." Then he moved to sling his useless arm around Ryoki's shoulder to make sure that the other wouldn't be able to get away when he tried to ram his machines against the shin of the same leg where he'd already gotten the hip.

The hit damaged his shoulder enough to make the young bull grunt, but he didn't vacillate nor he allowed the grip on Leo's hair to lessen; as matter of fact, his free hand pulled Leo closer. Knowing perfectly well his legs were in danger - all of him was, matter of fact - due to the proximity, Ryoki had to move fast.

He tried to escape with his leg, or at least protect it enough so he could still handle the pain, and Ryoki pulled Leo's hair hard for a moment to gain control over the movements of the lion's head. That's when he forced Leo's head against his own, and tried to head-butt him in the nose.
