The madness wavelength had done wonders for messing with Haru's mind. It still hadn't faded entirely, but not because the madness wavelength was still in effect. No, it was because Haru had only spent one week clean (mostly), and last night he got the high of a life time.

His eyes snapped open suddenly, and his attention lingered on the ceiling. Haru wasn't aware of his surroundings. He immediately went off in a paranoid fit. "No." There was a brief pause. "Fucking NO! You can't keep me in here! You and you..." he pointed toward patients, toward staff, toward visitors. "And especially you, motherfucking cocksucker--!" He clawed at the sheets and himself...and anyone if they tried to get near.

Someone get the boy a sedative.

Watson had been tending to a Death City resident just at hand when the boy nearby started going into hysterics. He was used to this, though, having woken up the same way for days after being imprisoned. Even back in the Afghan war, things had been much the same.

He shuffled quickly over, as fast as weariness and his limp would allow him, armed with a syringe of sedatives. Modern medicine was so handy sometimes. "Please do remain still," he muttered, attempting to come close through the clawing and the thrashing.

"No," Haru fought a bit more violently, shrieking the protests. "No, no, NO!" And whether it was fatigue or Watson managed to find the right angle, Haru felt the pierce of the needle and his will to fight was instantly drained. Tension left him as he leaned his head back against the pillow. Lavender eyes focused on Watson, staring at him without blinking.

"It got into my head and filled me with poison. They filled me with poison. They filled me with poison," his tone was sluggish but urgent, fingers reaching out for the hem of the man's shirt. "I was getting better. I was. I swear I was."

It was really more luck and divine intervention than any skill on Watson's part, he supposed, but he wasn't one to question these things (besides, Holmes would disapprove), so he merely set the used syringe aside and took Haru's hand in his. He used his free hand to feel for Haru's pulse, noting the man's heart rate and the speed that the sedative worked on him. Watson always gave small doses at the beginning, until he could calculate the proper dose for the patient, but they worked wonders nonetheless.

"And you will get better again, my dear," he murmured, "What poison was this, exactly?"

[Momo was doing everything she could do to help, which mostly consisted of fetching supplies and holding things, given her lack of medical training. For the first time, she was truly regretting the lack of her magic - she could have helped so much more if she'd been able to use her healing spells. Still, she did what she could - staying busy helped to keep her from thinking too much about what she'd seen last night.]

[Watson has just finished stitching up someone else's cuts, and has put all the soiled bandages, cotton, and tools in a shallow, metal bin. He seems too tired to actually make the trip to dispose of them, though, and hails Momo with a swift smile and a wave.]

Would you do me the kindness of putting this in the kitchen, my dear?

[Momo returns his smile with a small one of her own.]

Certainly, sir.

[After taking the metal bin, she bites her lip for a moment before making a suggestion.]

Perhaps you should take a short break?

[Inclines his head gratefully at her, and gives her a wan smile at her suggestion.]

I may have no choice in the matter. But I believe that I've been rather rude -- The name is Doctor John Watson, formerly of the Royal Army Medical Corps. And you?

[Slinking in, putting all of his stealth training to good use. He doesn't actually want anyone to know he's here.

He's just here to check up on Katsura again. He'll be gone before you know it.

...As soon as he can get himself to move past the door frame.]

[Katsura's not allowed to leave the clinic yet but he's mostly fine by now. Mostly because his roommates are somewhat insane, he's been trying to escape from the clinic (And failing) and nothing's working out for him. While his eyes are closed, he can't sleep. He's still awake and he happens to hear a slight sound that serves as an indication that someone else's awake.

He remains quiet for the moment, wondering if this person will actually approach him or continue to hide.]

[Between getting very little sleep the night before, shifting Katsura's crap into their new apartment himself (not like there was much to take, he's such a minimalist) and then going on Katsura's Watch patrol, Gintoki is rather exhausted. Sunrise never quite worked him this hard in such a short amount of time, but then again, he brought most, if not all of it upon himself.

He yawns rather loudly as he makes his way to Zura's clinic room, but it comes to an abrupt end when he spots Takasugi loitering around the entrance. What's he doing? Being all distant again, it seems, and he sighs. There is a hint of a smile on his face though. Just a tiny one.]

You're up late.

[Oh shit --

Takasugi whirls about to face the other. There's a second of wide-eyed ohcrapwhatdoidonow silence before the boy's gaze finally drops.]

I... I was just about to leave.

[Soft and reluctant. If Gintoki's here, though, then he can watch over Katsura. It's not like they wanted him around anyway.]

[It hasn't been that long since Karkat barged in here, yelling for assistance with an unconscious Terezi in his arms. it only feels like ten sweeps from his perspective.

She's fine now, or at least she's resting now and eventually will be, but he isn't. He paces near the door, looking aggravated, torn between wanting to make sure none of his other friends are in trouble and not wanting to leave in case she wakes up.

after a moment he leans against the wall, then lets his knees buckle slowly and slides down to sit miserably on the floor, hands in lap. he's wearing quite a lot of her distinctive teal blood, but he seems to be mostly staring at the small smudge in the palm of one hand.]

[Gai's been standing on duty in the clinic, ever since the bleeding of his arm was stopped. He's seen many people coming in with loved ones and friends. Some he knows. Some he doesn't. But known or not, they're all worried and stressed.

By the amount in here, and how little he's heard positive on the network, the attack was precise and executed well. This is information he'll file away for later.

Now, though, he watches Karkat sink to the floor and joins the boy. There's a lot of... teal. It meant the one who wrote with the 3 meaning e had been hurt, one of the trolls. Gai can't tell what Karkat's looking at, but the mood is the same.]

She will pull through. They know what they are doing, here.

[it's just a smudge now, but earlier the blood on his palm had been traced in the shape of a heart.

by her.

so yes, he's just having himself a little misery party over here.

he glares at Gai, expecting a hearty clap on the back and some obnoxiousness like "turn that frown upside down" or some other terrible thing like that. he opens his mouth in a snarl, gets ready to snap at him to fuck off, but... that's all he really wanted to hear. that it'd be okay, that she would be okay, that maybe there's some hope.]

I should have just fucking gone trick-or-treating in the first place. She wanted me to, you know.

[Gai nods, sitting against the wall now with Karkat.]

You could have. But you had no idea this would happen, and what if you had gone and you had been injured too? As it was you were unharmed and able to get her here, where she can be helped.

So maybe yes, that would have helped. And maybe it would have been worse.

She is here now, though. This is good.

[As much as Gai enjoys being loud, and, by nature, is loud, he knows that there's a place and time. A clinic, with people waiting and desperately hopeful, was not the place for volume.

While he sees the glare, he doesn't mind. He understands. Gai's spent his fair share of time waiting and defensive.]

She is... Threereezi?

[He still has trouble reading some of the typing styles.]

[Aqua had every intention of going back outside to help once she'd roughy an injured child to the clinic.

After handing the little girl off to one of the people working there, she turned to leave, not even noticing the wound on her arm was starting to bleed through the bandages she'd wrapped around it.]

[Thankfully, one person did. It was pure chance that Winry just left the room with one patient, and that's when she saw Aqua leaving.

And when she noticed the wound]
