Two more weeks for cougarridgegame. Then I plan to take a sabbatical from on-line gaming. Maybe permanently. The last few months of CR have been really, really stressful and depressing for me. I have one person who has expressed interest in taking over the game from me, but they only want to do it if it's actually active, and it doesn't look like it will be ( Read more... )

I know nothing about gaming so unfortunately I am no help in reviving Cougar Ridge. I do want you to know that I think you've been a great GM and I have had a great time playing that game. I'm sad to see it go but maybe it will come back better than ever.

All the game needed was more active players. I've been saying for months that people should invite their friends to play, but for the most part, no one thought it was worth the trouble.

If you mean inviting LJ friends to play, the people I am friends with that would be interested in playing are already playing.

And I dont have any real life friends who would be interested.

#1, you don't know if you don't ask. #2, you weren't the only other player. In the last six months, I'm pretty sure one person besides me, once, posted something in their journal inviting people to play. That's it. In that time, there have been at least five players.
