Two more weeks for cougarridgegame. Then I plan to take a sabbatical from on-line gaming. Maybe permanently. The last few months of CR have been really, really stressful and depressing for me. I have one person who has expressed interest in taking over the game from me, but they only want to do it if it's actually active, and it doesn't look like it will be. If anyone else is interested, now or in the future, I'll likely be willing to hand over the keys.
satanismyname is taking a week off in February, and I think we've snagged him for at least a weekend of that. He's going to come visit us and we'll do some off-line gaming. He called Saturday night, and he and the_original1 reminisced over old Car Wars games. I've only ever played Car Wars (pocket box/deluxe) against the_original1. The prospect of having the two of them to fight is a bit intimidating, especially after hearing some of the highlights of the games they've played. Of course, after they take me out, I can sit back and knit and just watch.
