Digital camera help?

For submissions to Knitty, you need, "A selection of clean digital images [JPG, best possible quality] of the finished project at 72dpi, at least 500 pixels wide." I can manage the 500 pxl part, but how do I know how many dpi it is ( Read more... )

Billy says anything your digital camera takes is going to be more than 72 dpi, since it's new. You should only worry if it's a 1 mp camera or something.

What if I change the size? Like if I crop it, and then have to make it bigger so it's at least 500 pixels?

You shouldn't have to stretch it out - kick up the camera settings to fine or superfine.

You can always email it to me for editing - he's a photoshop genius.
