yes, i was trying to think how they would act around each other, a couple of years down the road. when they had totally passed the awkward teenager phase and the complications of their supernatural history. twas interesting and fun. :)

Glad you rec'd this. Very hot. The truckload of tension so left me wanting more though! And I looove that song, it always gives me chills.

Even if Bella seems slightly OOC in this, she still feels very IC for the tangible backstory that you create and it's all so rooted in the books that it's seamless anyway. You have a knack for making the characters feel alive and worthwhile. And romantic Jake is like the best thing ever, of course.

hahaha. maybe you should write a continuation of it then. ease some of the tension. ;)

and oh golly i love that song. It really was the inspiration for this fic. as you may have read at the start of this post, i was actually in a blackout when i wrote this. my house was without power for several days. and one night i found myself just lying on my bed, sweating away in my clothes, listening to that song with candles flickering all around my room. why hullo there inspiration! ;)

ya see that is what i am going for. I dont ever intentionally write characters as OOC. but if it is a fic set in the future, then naturally they would have changed from the teenagers they were in canon. especially Bella, i like to think that her being in a relationship with Jacob would have an enormous influence on her. but i try to keep elements of their character in there. basically i
