And so fun to read!
Seeing favorites through other's eyes is *always* fun.

Hee, thank you. I couldn't resist adding SG-1 to the mix, because when I first got the idea for this story, this was one of the first scenes I came up with- Sheppard smiling flirtatiously, even though they're staring at him with the "WTF blue?!?!?" look he's gotten used to, and introducing himself. Because he would totally brazen his way through it. He's been blue for a few years, after all.

(It's occurred to me that by the time I get tired of writing this, I will never, ever want to hear the word "blue" for the rest of my life. Which is a problem since it's my favorite color.)

Heeeeeeeeee.
I loved it. And yeah, he's used to it so it adds that extra something.

I've only seen a little bit, but I think I like the way you write Sam and Rodney. Too many people write one as the bad guy and one as a good guy (depending on where show allegiances lie) but here, there's neither of the bad guys, but they're still them.

That's exactly what I think! However, it does help that the Sam that lives in my head has only a passing resemblance to what they gave us on screen, especially in the last few seasons. And she doesn't really have enough of a personality on Atlantis to see if the SGA writers are handling her any better, so... Internal fanon once again comes to my aid.

Yay, SG-1! It's always fun (for somebody, anyhow) when they pop in. ;-)

Heh, I like that McKay doesn't get all brain-dead around Carter, & that John is messing with them just a little. Unflappable Daniel FTW! Hmmm, Commander Sheppard, eh??
