I have been studying for hours and am still not done OMG (I am possibly going to do TERRIBLY on my midterm tomorrow, ACK) so I figured I'd take a break and post an utterly worthless poll

In the "something else" category: I have a black woven cord bracelet that I wear every day, that doesn't strictly qualify as jewelry but I feel lost without it.
Also, I cannot wear necklaces. Plastic, beads, pearls, metal, whatever: the only time I can stand to have something around my neck is if it's made of leather, and even then I can't wear it for very long. Necklaces itch, and I keep scratching at them and eventually end up with red patches all over my neck. I think maybe I was hanged in a former life. Or possibly decapitated.
Yeah, I really like bracelets but they can get in the way (not to mention be hard to put on by yourself, oy). When I wear a ring I usually wear it on my right hand, and I've noticed that that gets in the way of writing with a pen, too. Although... I think I hold my pen differently than most people, so that could just be me.
Maybe you need a pocket watch! Or a locket on a long chain with a little clock inside?
My comment got too long, so here it is instead: Yellow gold is ugly and unappealing and I won't wear it. Also, diamonds are overrated.
I'm not much of a jewelry person, not least because I'm kind of tomboyish and it gets in the way. I don't have pierced ears, or pierced anything else, either. I do have a couple three silver rings, though, with semi-precious stones: amber, pearls, jade. Like my hair stylings, my wearing of jewelry is constrained both by my religious upbringing and the regulations I'm under while in uniform. Which I'm happily not, at the moment.
Also, I am like Veronamay in that I cannot STAND things around my neck. I'll wear necklaces as long as they aren't choker types. No collars, no scarves, no anything else. Although I kind of wouldn't mind wearing a collar for a little while... >:)

You have enough jewelry in your ears to make up for a lack around your neck, I think. ;-)

Earrings are my favorite... if you wear nothing else (hahahah not like that) they give you a look of beign finished even if they are simple.
I also love annklets...so I am looking forward to wearing them. Bracelets are nice but I don't wear them during the week they interfere with typing...
and I alywas wore a watch but I stopped it bothers me when I type.. but I hate not having the time...
umm I think that is it for now.
