Thank you for stepping up to the plate on pinch-hitting for this challenge. I sincerely apologize for my delay in replying to your post. RL has kicked me to the curb as of late and it's been a struggle to find my way back into the light.

The story you've told is lovely and hot and the tinge of despair is just right. Lex doesn't believe in hope and you captured that facet of his personality perfectly with this story. Plus, Clark leaving with the artifact helped drive that last nails into Lex's heart.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the fic -- I wasn't sure if you went for the whole hopeless love thing (I'm usually more of a schmoopy SV slasher *g*) but amnesia smut sounded fun to me. *bg*
