Your writing is incredibly beautiful. This encounter between Clark and Lex is hot and gorgeous, and definitely how things should have happened.

I particularly loved how Clark seemed to be pushing his memories and his real life away, like he knew that when he remembered he couldn't have this anymore.

I'm still an optomist, so I'll hope that when Clark comes to his senses he'll change his mind.

Thank you so much for the wonderful comment! Clark is one of those characters that I love in theory but that I often want to knock upside the head in canon... Grrr. I think having an opportunity to just live in the moment and be able to just accept all of his powers would do him some good. (Umm, not to mention the sex. Sex always helps! *g*)
