Rain, Jammix, and Neotte

It was raining all day today and tonight. Everyone is calling it disgusting, which is the consensus, but today, I feel like it's peaceful, although it's cold and dark. My mom and dad are middle-aged and have been married for 23 years, and they both have good friends whom the other doesn't know nearly as well, and spend time without each other reasonably often. My dad even packs up and travels on his own when he has a few vacation days to burn; he loves to go to New Mexico, rent a car, and just wander the state. A relationship doesn't mean you feel guilty about the time you don't spend with that person. It means you savor the time you DO spend with them, and if you ever feel like you're spending too much time with them, you probably are. If that's true after years of marriage I think it's true for two college kids who've been together for what, 8 months?
