Things to love about cats

I love how I can bring in a couple of blades of ordinary grass and my cats will think I've just brought them the bestest treat ever.

Our cats tricked us into feeding them twice last night. Wily bastards.

Heh. Of course, buying them that $40 toy results in them totally ignoring it in favor of those blades of grass.

If you had put the grass in a plain paper bag, they'd've probably died of fright. :)

We usually don't spend that much on a single cat toy - they like foam balls and furry mice which are cheap.

However, another thing I find amusing is that while I rarely see them play with their toys, when I put them away, the next morning I'll find three toys scattered through the house. I'll put them away again and the next morning the same thing happens with the same three toys. I'm not sure which one is doing this but it's pretty funny.

My cats hairball for fun. They are on their way to Jackson Pollock fame, I swear. I just wish that they'd consider linoleum as their preferred canvas, instead of our couch fabric, our Afgah throw blanket, or our carpet.

Jango throws up a lot of hairballs but then he is long-haired. And yes, always on the carpets. God bless the people who make Oxy-clean - thankfully it gets rid of all cat vomit stains easily.
