I love how I can bring in a couple of blades of ordinary grass and my cats will think I've just brought them the bestest treat ever.

I got home from work today to discover I'd locked Jango in the bathroom where I leave all my seedlings during the day (because it gets more light than the front of the house). A few of the plants didn't survive, although he seems to have nibbled on just one type of plant ( Read more... )

Does anyone else find it a little creepy to just look up and realize your cat is staring at you intently?

Jango's stalking Phaedra, and Phaedra growls, hisses and screams (and I mean screams, like someone is killing her) when he approaches or even looks at her. Then he'll run at her and she'll totally freak out. I don't know what set them off again, but one cat has to be kept locked up to prevent this unpleasantness ( Read more... )
