After many exciting Adventures In Plumbing and - scientific term, this - a shit-ton of plumber's putty, we finally have a functioning kitchen sink. This is cause for great rejoicing, I assure you. I have been taking delicious pleasure in turning on the hot water - and then turning it off again. And then I fiddle with the cold. Ahh, refreshing

They don't hold my hair either, and it fills me with angst and resentment. I can't do anything pretty with my hair because it's so thin and straight ("oh it's beautiful!" people say, "I wish I had hair like that" haha) that everything--literally--falls right out.

I want them, they're so pretty.

Mine is thick, and has a wave to it - and it's long, which adds to its weight. I have tried clipping it up before only to have the clips just break. Many times, to my sorrow. The only way I've found to make hair sticks stay is if it's held up some other way, making them purely ornamental.

Wah. So many pretties.
