I'm actually finishing FFX now (for the first time, although I played it ages ago -- got to Gagazet and then stopped) and I have FFX-2 sitting in the wings to be played after. It hurts me so much... the cheesy 70s music, the ridiculous montages, the blatant Charlie's Angels-ism... but it's so much shameless fun.

The first time I played through FFX I wasn't crazy about Yuna, but this time I like her a lot more and Yuna/Tidus are SO adorable together. (And now that I know how it ends because I'm a spoiler whore they're TRAGIC too.) I look forward to playing FFX-2 now that I have a better opinion of her and her character evolution through FFX, since before I didn't believe in her sudden willingness to wear skimpy clothes and be badass -- but now I think I can see how Tidus would have made her a more open and confident person. ADORABLE.
