Hmm... I wonder if there really is a Harry Potter Tarot out there? I guess lots of parents wouldn't be too happy about that... occult worries and the like you know... Of course, they are missing the whole point about Harry Potter: that evil spirits DO exist...

Yes it is. Got all depressed when I was drawing it and Usually,the illustrations for it on real tarot decks are bloody depressing as well!

Ouch indeed! This is beautiful. I love the angles of Draco's body, echoing the swords. I love the background (it looks like something you'd find on a Norman gravestone or something). Harry's expression and empty hand create "violent chagrin" beautifully. A rich card. I wouldn't mind a whole deck of them!

Yay! You know what chagrin meant and care about the interpretation of the card. Embarrassingly, I had to look 'chagrin' and 'calumny' before I began. Someone on another LJ commented "The main question now is whether Harry stuck those swords into him." I love it when people look at my pictures and wonder about the backstory or who just did what.
