Last night I finally got to see a show at Mr. Smalls and see Cartel.

I though Mr. Smalls was a very interesting venue. I liked that they hung doors on the walls to act as sound dampers/reflectors as well as for visual aesthetics. I also was happy the floor wasn't concrete. Hooray!

Looks like I'll be at the Cartel show by myself tonight. I am sad, but such is life sometimes.

I recently found out that Cartel will be in town in April. I've been wanting to see them live for a while. I'm also excited because I'll finally get to see a show at Mr. Smalls.

Dad and I just got back from Brad Paisley Bonfires and Amplifiers Tour.

The first opening act was Taylor Swift, the youngest country singer to write and perform all her own songs at the age of 17. She was quite sweet and a decent performer.
