I was looking for some anime to watch tonight (there's so much I haven't seen... ) and I found a comprehensive-looking list of all the anime that one site offered. I decided to paste it into Word and use it to keep track of what anime I watch. Well, I ended up bolding everything I've seen entirely and italicizing everything I've seen part of (

What are some of your favorites on the "seen" list? Any you're particularly looking forward to watching/finishing?

You know, one of the things I noticed as I was compiling the list is that the anime on it resist classification. The Angel Sanctuary OVA, for example, is not an example of stellar animation standards. On the other hand, it introduced me to the works of Kaori Yuki, who has become my favorite mangaka. My views of the anime on the list are highly influenced by how I saw them. Another example would be .Hack//Sign, which I saw in the scratchiest copy-of-a-copy-of-a-copy imaginable. The quality of the story shone through, but my memory of the animation is... not particularly favorable.

Okay, given that disclaimer, while looking at the list the following stood out for me:
