Years ago I had a needle put through my side ribs during a medical procedure and all this afternoon and this evening a little muscle has been jumping and flickering right on that spot. Apparently nerves have a memory, and can go into spasms even years after being damaged. I've discovered this recently on account of an old neck injury flaring up.

Re the megrims: I had to look it up to be sure (I love when you use lovely words that are old but still fresh), and yeah, I'm in 'em too. I'd like to bypass the next two months and skip to the glorious carefree spring-summer bit of Melbourne life.

Oh dude you too! What's going on?? Sorry to hear you're also GLUM. GLUMNESS seems the new black. It's as much as I can do to just sit here and breathe.

I haven't had a full winter for years -- it's brutal. I am heartily sick of it/myself/everything. Hang in there, mate.

Let the spring come! Oh, please. Please.
