I think the person who used to send me crap like that has now been taught to try Snopes.com first. At least I hope so, because I've sent her there for two hoaxes now...

You've spent time in Australia so you'll get how insanely stupid the email was that I received last night.

Australians are being encouraged to add their mobile numbers to the Do Not Call Registry otherwise--get this--telemarketers will call our mobiles and we will be charged for the call.

I read that, thought 'wtf?', then checked snopes to see if it'd been changed from an American hoax. Then sent it back to three separate people to remind them that Australians don't *get* charged for incoming mobile calls.
*little sigh*
