Alright, well, I finally got around to reading this, and I'm glad I did. Are any of those extra PCI video cards functional? Because I could use one, and they're kind of a bitch to find ( ... )

Oh, and while we're on the topic of fortuitous dumpster finds, I was out at the electronics recycling center once and spotted a then-recent-looking HP laptop and power supply. Grabbed it when no one was looking. It had a borked XP install but was otherwise intact. I put a new copy on and sold it on eBay for $250.

Yeah I have Virtual Box installed on my desktop, but honestly I've never had a good reason to use it for anything. I've thought about using it to play around with a Linux install just for fun, but aside from that, I can't think of anything else I'd use it for. The days when I would execute or decompress files of questionable integrity on a fairly regular basis are long gone, so I don't really have a need for a sandbox ( ... )

Oh, and I have a whole slew of AGP X2 cards ranging from 8 to 32mb... if you ever need one.
