What happens when quick learning and natural talent give out on me and I get to the point that I have to work and possibly fail?

This is a really, really good indicator of what you love. What are you willing to try your best to work at even when you've reached the end of your natural talent for it? When you get to a point where you start to have to give effort to be good at something but it doesn't matter because you want to, and even when the amount of work sucks, you can't not do it because your dedication and fascination with the subject will not let you? That's a good place to start.

You're right. I've always had a deep admiration for people who find the dedication to do that - a lot don't (myself included). I've seen you do it with language, and it's pretty damn inspiring. <3

I will find this thing in my life this month. Thank you so much for putting it so perfectly.

I guess the test is going to be how well I implement the revelation... |D s-so I guess I'm halfway there on the maturity thing. HERE'S HOPING I DON'T FAIL THE OTHER HALF.

I'm glad you are getting to pursue something to want to do, though! My mom was the same way - she went back to school a few years ago to become a nurse after years of having a bullshit degree in something she didn't really want to do. It's proven to me how fulfilling it can be to work your ass off for something you want; I'll follow both your examples! <3333!
