Sun. 46F outside, the warmest we've had since November, I think. Today's achievement: laundry and airing out my duvet and pillows outdoors in the sun. I am waiting to hear back from a guy who promised to look over the parkour-bits in my next novel - I have picked up what I know from online so I might have some terminology wrong. Don't you just know it. Yesterday I ordered the photo book with digital photos - today the company launches a campaign with 15% off... Typical.

I can't believe it's seven o'clock and it's still very light outside. Amazing! Maybe this season of perpetual darkness is finally over. And Easter is coming! We have a tradition where we sow Easter grass on little plates or trays, and then decorate the grass with chickens and chocolate eggs. 1. We still get snow. The snow we have is not melting, even on the days it goes above freezing. Oh my crocuses, when will I ever see you again?!
2. I just enjoyed some macaroni with ketchup and cheese stirred in.
3. I keep missing my WIP.
4. I look forward to Easter!
5. My sister just friended me on FB - it made me happy!

I miss the MC from my next WIP so much. I haven't been able to work on the manuscript for ages and I know it'll be difficult to get back in to the story. But, and this is a first for me, if I close my eyes I can visit the locations in the story. It's a fantasy, so I've made them all up. I am still here. I haven't fallen off the planet (or been buried by snow). I am just busy, and tired, which is not the best combination. I am very grateful for the fact that I have a job (well, jobs) which enables me to take a nap in the middle of the day. Without that nap I don't know how I'd do at the moment.
