I just moved to Vancouver and as of yet have not made any friends. So I've been spending a lot of time on the net starring Sandra Bullock. I rediscovered my livejournal and found this post of yours. It cracked me up, and I thought, "I need to comment on this!"
Oh shit, I already did. And then I wondered, "what the fuck is hufu?"

Hello Sam! I had forgotten about this post as well. I don't write in here anymore, but I still read my friend Leanna's journal quite frequently. Why did you move to Vancouver? Canadians are silly. I know a couple handfuls of them from my study abroad trip to Ireland. They were everywhere. Like the Malaysians. I hear they have pretty spectacular weed in Canada.

I've gone to this land of hockey fanatics and talking junkies because they are the only ones bold (crazy?) enough to make me a doctor and legitimize my peddling of that strange medicine called knowledge. Basically, I told them that I like reading books and writing junk, and they said "we'll pay you to become a Ph.D!" I wasn't doing much else with my life, so I said yes. Oh, and while the weed here deserves its reputation, alas I have to pass on grass and keep my eyes on the prize. Le sigh.
