So, the original intention of the shop had been to take the parts they needed from another E28. They looked at the parts, decided they looked alright, and set a date for yesterday. Today, just as I'm heading out the door, I get a call from the guy at the shop. Turns out, the part wasn't in good enough condition. I appreciate that they're looking

Did they say that you have to switch rental cars after some time? I hope you get your car back soon.

I have no idea what the situation is with the rental. I gave it to the shop when I picked my car up yesterday morning. Hopefully my insurance isn't counting me as having it now, so I'll have the full amount of credit remaining when I take my car in again.
