One would've thought that by this point, I would've already made various posts about the Horrid Heat, the Lecherous Lakers, and of course Deetroit, but I have made none. Perhaps it was because the first-round matchup between the Pistons and the Bucks was not zu exciting, with the Pistons dominating every game except the one in which they decided ( Read more... )

I agree with you on the Piston series going five.

Umm no blaming Brother for your lack of watching basketball, especially if it was because he was watching baseball.

No, it was because Brother demanded that I go and bounce with him. However, if it had been because he had been watching baseball, this would still seem to me like a perfectly legitimate reason to blame him.

Bouncing is good, baseball is so not a legit reason.

Any basketball outweighs any baseball, and playoff Piston basketball clearly outweighs regular-season baseball. However, this matter it entirely irrelevant. All I said was that one reason I didn't watch zu much Piston basketball was Brother. Whether Brother was in the right in preventing me from watching basketball by watching baseball (theoretically, I guess--as I said, the real reason was bouncing) is totally immaterial.

I'm well aware. However, note that I said that I picked the team with home-court advantage, not the higher seed.
