I've been writing music for a number of years, and I've never claimed to do anything outside of the instrumental realm. As a matter of fact, I've pretty much had to scream it from the mountaintop that I'm not a singer and I'm NOT a rapper! But yet...every freaking day I get asked if I wanna buy somebody's beats

Best I can tell is to just ignore it. I mean, shit I'm starting to get people throwing crappy contracts at me for use of my artistic skillz, but with little to no return. Annoying? Yes. Going to ruin my day? Naw.
