There is a spot on Sonia's running route where she slows down to a brisk walk. Not that she runs the entire route, but if she hasn't slowed down yet, she makes it a point to do so at that particular spot. That's when she lets all of the thoughts she's been holding back for the last thirty minutes or so tumble out of confinement

She doesn't move when Sonia comes into view, but she turns her head to look at her. She smiles gently.
"...hi, Sonia."

"How are - are you okay? Why are you here?"
Because it stands to reason that the only reason Kathy would come to see her after so much and so long would be if something terrible had happened. Right?

She needs something to drink. Kathy mentioned coffee. She heads to the kitchen.
"Technically, I'm not working for Two-Face. I work for Harvey Dent. And I don't even want to know how you found that out."

Coffee's on. Sonia takes a drink from a water bottle before she continues.
"Anyway. He's just Harvey Dent now."

She lowers her voice instinctively.
"We're working on... something. A way to nail Thorne to the wall legally."

Kathy can take care of herself. She's always been able to take care of herself. Sonia's always had a tendency to take responsibility for the people she cares about - but Kathy deserves more credit than that, surely.
Still.
"Look, Kathy, if Thorne figures out I'm investigating him again, this could get dangerous. I don't want to get you into even more trouble. Are you sure you want to get involved in this?"
